MIP/Alcohol Awareness Course

Alcohol Education Program for Minors

The Alcohol Education Program for Minors (AEPM) is a state-certified course regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. Students interested in completing the course may register online or visit the Alcohol and Drug Compliance Services Office in the LBJ Student Center, room 5-8.1 at least 24-hours prior to the preferred class date.

The class is filled on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum capacity of 25 participants and a minimum enrollment of three. Participants are strongly urged to contact the Alcohol and Drug Compliance Services Office as soon as they are made aware of the requirements. Classes fill quickly and once capacity is reached, participants must enroll in the next regularly-scheduled class.

The MIP/Alcohol Awareness class involves an exit interview, which is scheduled with prospective students at the time of enrollment. The scheduled exit interview is noted on the participant's registration form.
