The Textbook Grants, provided by the Dean of Students CARE Center, aim to ease some of the financial burden for students with lived experience in foster care that have unmet need in their financial aid package. The Textbook Grants are provided on a first come first served basis.
In order to get a textbook grant, you must:
- be a verified student with lived experience in foster care
- fill out the form below by the deadline for the semester in which you intend to use the grant (fill out a separate form for each semester you are requesting)
- abide by the requirements set forth by the Textbook Grants Agreement.
- have unmet need in your financial aid package.
**Textbook Grant requests are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. The number of Textbook Grants are limited and we may not be able to serve every student who submits a request each semester.**
Textbook Grant Request Deadlines
TEXTBOOK GRANT REQUESTS ARE CLOSED FOR THE FALL 2022 SEMESTER.
Please make sure that your schedule will remain unchanged by the time you submit your request for Textbook Grants as this might cause your unmet need to change based on your financial aid package. Additionally, ensure that your financial aid award package remains unchanged when requesting the Textbook Grants as this may cause you to owe back money if your unmet need changes. More information will be provided with the Textbook Grant Agreement meeting.
