Capital Area Food Bank: provides information about programs offering free food in the Capital area.

Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS): delivers transportation tailored specifically for each of the one hundred and sixty-nine communities it serves.

Child Care: provides information about Texas State's Child Development Center, a link to assist parents in locating child care facilities, mentoring and support programs, afterschool programs and child care financial assistance, summer camp programs at Texas State and the local community, and other helpful child care related resources.

City of San Marcos: everything you need to know about living in San Marcos. This website has information about public schools, voter registration, utility services, county clinics, Central Texas Medical Center, Municipal Court, parks and recreation, and more.

Communicare: offers a variety of services, such as medical, dental, behavioral health, ancillary, and support services. Communicare serves patients enrolled in Medicaid and other assistance programs, as well as those who are not insured or who may qualify for a sliding fee discount.

Hays-Caldwell Women's Center: provides education, violence prevention services, and crisis intervention to victims of family violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. All services are free and confidential.

Hays County Food Bank: provides free food to residents of Hays County.

Lone Star Card: used to deliver food stamps. Website provides information about the Lone Star Card, including how to apply for a Lone Star Card and what can be bought with it.

SafePlace: provides support for anyone who is harmed by sexual and domestic violence, past and present.

San Marcos Texas Churches and Religion Resources: provides a list of churches in San Marcos.

Texas Foster Youth Justice Project: provides free legal help for current and former foster youth. They help foster youth understand their legal rights, provide legal advice, assistance, guidance and representation in enforcing foster youth rights. They also educate the general public about the legal needs and concerns of foster youth.

Texas Youth Connection: provides information about education, finances, how to obtain records from CPS and find biological family members, health, employment, food, housing, contact information, and success stories.

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC): WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk. This website provides information on how to apply for WIC and eligibility requirements.

Work in Texas: This website has information about how to find a job in Texas, information for Texas Veterans, finding child care, finding the nearest Workforce Center, and public transportation information for all counties in Texas.
