Bobcat Pause is an annual event that honors members of the campus community who have recently passed away. With this event, we to instill the importance of remembrance and hopes to offer comfort to those who mourn the deceased. It is our compassion and caring for each other that reflect the excellence of our university community and what it truly means to be a Bobcat.
Bobcat Pause
The Bobcat Pause Memorial Service will be held on April 15, 2024 in the LBJ Student Center Grand Ballroom. This will include honorees who have passed between March 1, 2023 and February 29, 2024. The evening's schedule will proceed as indicated below.
The ceremony will include remarks by the university president, a musical performance, and a roll call of those being remembered. The university community, and friends and family of the deceased are invited to join in honoring our fallen Bobcats. Attendees are encouraged to bring photos or flowers to display in honor of their loved ones.
